Introduction
Many peer-reviewed scientific studies dealing with climate change published in science journals during the previous ten years agree with the global consensus that greenhouse gas (GHG) pollution has caused most of the warming of the last 50 years. There is conclusive evidence that the pace of change will cause a significant increasing of global temperature over the coming century. The International Energy Agency (IEA)， which advises industrialised countries， predicted that global carbon dioxide emissions would increase by 55 per cent between now and 2030， unless governments and consumers took “urgent” action(1) .
